Meet Cosmetic Dentist Jared A. Franson

Dr. Jared A. Franson D.M.D. grew up the youngest of six children. Raised by his parents in Idaho Falls, Idaho and Great Falls, Montana, he developed a great love of the outdoors from an early age.  At the age of nineteen, Dr. Franson traveled to Buenos Aires,Argentina to serve a two year mission for his church. It was there he became fluent in the Spanish language and developed a great love for the people.
 
Dr. Franson returned to the states at the age of 21, where
he pursued higher education out of a desire to continue helping people. He graduated from Brigham Young University in
Provo, Utah in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Zoology. From there he was accepted at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon, where he attended their School of Dentistry. He graduated in 2003.
 
Dr. Franson worked for established practices for two years
before venturing out on his own, opening the doors to Franson Family Dentistry in Vancouver, Washington in 2005. In 2008, he expanded, acquiring a second practice in Longview, Washington.  Dr. Franson had an unexpected opportunity in 2010 to open a satalite office in Camas, Washington. Where Dr. Joshua Williams, a long time high school friend, is caring for his patients.  Opportunity knocked once again in 2011,  and he purchased Apple Dental.  By merging his Longview practice with Apple Dental, he is now able to offer extended office hours, comprehensive dental care, and convenient location.  He has recieved a warm welcome in the Longview community and hopes to continue practicing for many years to come.

Since that time, Dr. Franson has continued to educate himself through extensive continuing education courses, in an effort to bring the best of the best to his patients. Past courses have included implant placement and surgery, laser practicum, sedation dentistry, bone grafting, endodontics, full mouth reconstruction, and smile design. He has embraced technology as a means to deliver the highest quality of work to each patient. Digital x-rays, digital impressions and lasers have only enhanced his attention to detail and helped simplify the process.

Professional Associations have included the ADA, AGD, AACD, ICOI, and DOCS.

Dr. Franson has been married to his lovely wife, Diane, for the past 15 years. Together they have four children. His love of the outdoors has continued to grow since moving to the Pacific Northwest. He and his family enjoy fishing for whatever is in season, especially salmon and steelhead. Dr. Franson also enjoys hunting wild game birds, deer, and elk. Other interests include basketball, football, and fly fishing. Dr. Franson is always learning something new.
